On December 27th Halton Hacks. com held the first Halton Region Hackathon at Milton Public Library. This local community led hackathon was planned and organized by local Milton high school students as well as others from Halton Region.
The Townsend Smith Foundation which is dedicated to building a Residential Hospice for North Halton held their Donor and Recognition event on November 28th at their future hospice site at 8958 Trafalgar Road
The original Milton “On the Way to Bethlehem” has been an annual tradition in Milton since 2001. With the involvement of over 20 local churches and religious organizations. The annual nativity pageant was the inspiration of Dr. Andrea Rowbottom of Milton Grace Church. The founding group retired from organizing the event during the Pandemic.
Held on the first Thursday of each month with a different Milton Organization preparing the meal each time. The community dinners are open to everyone, regardless of religion or background. Coming together in fellowship over meal. Donations are accepted but purely optional and the food used in the meals is donated by Food For Life.

The raabta.ca’s Islamic Art Exhibition, Discover the Islamic Art Experience, took place from October 18th to November 4th and was milestone event in the cultural tapestry of Milton. This groundbreaking exhibition brings together a remarkable assembly of 25 local Muslim artists, 11 of which are from the heart of Milton itself. Within this exhibition, attendees embark on a captivating journey through the annals of Islamic history, experiencing a rich array of artistic expressions that encompass exquisite paintings, intricate architectural art, eloquent Arabic Calligraphy, and innovative digital and 3D creations.

The Black and White Pajama Party, a ladies only fundraising fête whose popularity is astounding. Tickets for the event are quickly purchased up for this annual stellar event. Even the purchase of the tickets themselves became a fun event with Margaret Saliba engaged in “Where’s Marg?” around the town to hand deliver tickets at different locations each day
Milton has a thriving community of award winning local artists and they recently opened their studios to the public on September 29th to October 1st. Over 44 artists at 25 locations joined together for the Fine Arts Society of Milton (FASM) 2023 Studio Tour.
