On February 6th in Milton local MP Adam van Koeverden along with Halton Scotch Whiskey Society held a taste testing of a curated fight of whiskeys form across Canada. The showcase was meant to highlight many quality
Canadian whiskeys as a way to find local alternatives to American Bourbons and whiskeys. The cost was $60 per person which included both food as well as the flight of 5 different Canadian Whiskeys from coast to coast.

MP Adam van Koeverden posted about the event on social media and welcomed anyone who would like to attend to message him for the location and details. With both short notice and limited seating the event was able to sell out and which maximum capacity the day of.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Canadian Minister of Immigration, Marc Miller, was also in attendance and gave a brief overview of both the past, present and possible future policy changes in Canada’s immigration & refugee framework.
