Milton Youth Volleyball Club, commonly known as Milton Edge, is proudly marking its 10th season, celebrating a major milestone. Milton Edge is a volunteer-led organization that creates competitive volleyball opportunities for youth in Milton. The club was founded in 2015 by Milton residents Robert and Madhvi Bishop.

When Milton Edge started, they had just 5 teams. This season, they have worked their way up to 21 indoor teams, which comes to 225 rep athletes. As well as 500 indoor development athletes coached by Michael Cameron, and approximately 240 beach athletes. Coaching all ages ranging from grade 2 to 12. All of this would not be possible without the dedicated volunteers that run the club, parents, coaches and athlete community.

Milton Edge works to give back to the community like, the spring clean up, Halton Women’s Place walk, food drives and supporting the Pack-ABag Foundation. Milton Edge also offers a program called the Angel Fund which helps ease the financial strain off families when wanting to participate within the Milton Edge community.

The club has three main objectives, one of which is promoting the game making it accessible to all within the community. Along with developing young athletes by providing opportunities for mental, physical, social and leadership development. Finally promoting fun, fitness and skill development.
