In March 1998, a group of likeminded and committed parents got together to form Special Olympics Milton. Since then they have been leading, guiding and developing the Milton Special Olympics Milton community in sports and competition.
Milton Makos (Swimming) is one part of this. On March 29th the Milton Makos Swim team met Nicole Noonan – an RCMP Inspector with Toronto West Attachment in Milton. She came to meet them just before the start of their swim and spent time speaking to members and offering them words of encouragement.
