The HerQuest for Hospice Race, in support of Townsend Smith Foundation, is celebrating its 5th Anniversary with its annual event being held on Saturday, September 13th.
Created and driven by a dedicated team of volunteers, they are proud of what they have created and accomplished in 5 short years. Deborah Bernardino, Chair of the HerQuest Committee shares, “from a crazy idea and a shot in the dark many years ago we have created an event loved by many that has brought some much needed attention to the lack of quality end of life care in our community while also raising over $220,000 for the Townsend Smith Foundation to date.”
Wanting to surpass their quarter million dollar goal this year, the HerQuest Committee is inviting teams to register to participate in this “Amazing Race” styled event and asking the community to support the racers by making a pledge.
Together, let’s celebrate 5 years of supporting the Townsend Smith Foundation as they work to build a much needed hospice for North Halton. 5 years of laughter, friendships, smiles, and fun!
