During the month of October Milton had “Canvas of Muslim Artists Honouring Heritage Through Art,” presented by The Artist Cube at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton.
The Artist Cube was created to spotlight the incredible work of Muslim artists across Canada. To help bring together the diverse Muslim creatives under one umbrella. Giving them a space to showcase their art along with a community to gather in.
Nargis Naqvi the Executive Director for The Artist Cube is a long time Miltoni and artist. She was also the founder of My Voice Canada, a magazine she created to help give Muslim youth a voice.
Nargis, Zunaira Mufti, Sanober Shameem and Shamailah Faizan are 4 of the Milton based artists at the exhibition. Zunaira, Nargis and Mohd Taqi Khan are the 3 co-founders of The Artist Cube.
