The Khi Salvation Army in Milton has partnered with the Mobile Health Team at Support House to offer a free drop in medical clinic on Tuesdays from 9 am to 1 pm at 820 Nipissing Rd Unit #4. At this clinic, community members can access health care from a Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse and/ or a Social Worker. Additional needs related to social services and housing can also be addressed by connecting with the Mobile Health Team Social Worker and/or Peer Support Workers. Through the generous support of the Burlington Ontario health Team, Connected Care Halton and the Alex Irish, and Associates team the program now has a mobile health van with the goal of providing low-barrier health care to individuals across Halton region, including the city of Burlington.
