The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) is an equality-seeking advocacy organization of women working to enhance women’s rights and the lives of girls and women in Canada and around the world.
The Milton and District club was formed in 1962, its members dedicated advocates for gender parity, raising awareness of women’s issues and promoting continuing education for women and girls.

The club holds an Annual Used Book Sale to raise funds for scholarships for young women, organizes forums for
national and provincial elections, spearheads Milton’s annual International Women’s Day march, and has forged community partnerships within the Town of Milton and Halton Region.
