The Milton Hall of Fame held this year’s Induction Ceremony for the Class of 2025 on November 13th at the Milton Arts Centre.. Recognizing the remarkable achievements of Milton’s inductees and to reflect on the enduring spirit of sport that continues to shape our community.
The Milton Sports Hall of Fame flourishes through the dedication of its volunteer Board Members. Their commitment, enthusiasm, and professionalism drive everything – from preserving Milton’s sporting heritage to organizing tonight’s event.

Ron Armstrong – Swimming
Growing up Ron excelled in baseball, hockey football and swimming. In 1979, he and his wife settled in Milton, and both joined the newly founded Milton Masters Swim Club in the mid-1980s. Ron went on to coach competitive swimmers while competing himself, setting Canadian records at the 1987 Nationals.
Craig Brush – Hockey
Over the span of many decades and several countries, Craig Brush’s contributions to hockey have been immense. Born in Milton, Craig’s local minor hockey exploits in town earned him a scholarship from Cornell University, where he was part of the Cornell Big Red team that won the NCAA Division-I National Championship in 1970 with an undefeated record of 29-0-0.
Milton Monarch Basketball
Laura Henderson and Erin Walsh are here representing the two teams (1994 Bantam and Midget Championship teams). Milton Monarch Girls Basketball Program made a significant mark on the local and provincial basketball scene in the 1990s, producing Milton’s most talented basketball players at the time.
Len Andrews – Baseball
Len Andrews’ baseball legacy is monumental. As a visionary manager for two decades, Len built the Campbellville Merchants into one of Canada’s most successful and dominant baseball teams throughout the 1950s and 60s. Under his leadership, his club amassed an impressive record and 11 consecutive first-place finishes in the Halton County League.
Joe Auger – Hockey
Joe was instrumental in the growth of Milton Minor Hockey, serving as a coach and mentor. He played a key role in the creation of division hockey in Milton, coaching multiple minor teams, including stepping behind the bench of the Milton Merchants (1969- 70), the Milton Continental Flyers Jr. ‘B’ team (1974), and the Milton Tridents Intermediate ‘B’ team (1976).
