What better time to celebrate the start of a new decade than by announcing the fulfilment of a post-secondary educational project that’s been 12 years in the planning. As of January 2020, Wilfred Laurier University will be offering a Master of Education program at the Milton Educational Village (MEV). A reception was held at Pasquilino’s restaurant in Milton on December 19th to celebrate this all important first step towards establishing a campus that will, in decades to come, serve over 15,000 students.

The Christmas spirit came alive in Downtown Milton on December 9, 2019. The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (TJSF) held its 11th annual Miracle on Main St closing off a stretch of road in front of Troy’s Diner up to Martin St from 6:30am-9:30am.

On Saturday November 16th the Milton Muslim Moms and Benevolence Canada held a Fundraising Gala Dinner for United Way Halton & Hamilton to help eliminate poverty. The dinner highlighted the generosity and dedication of the sponsors, donors, guests and volunteers who all contributed to ensure the evening was a great success.
