The first weekend of May was a very busy time for the members of Hindu Swayamsewak Sangh (HSS), Milton Chapter. On the 5th of May, about 50 members of the HSS –young and old alike participated in the Milton Good Neighbours Community Day clean up.

On April 18 at the Milton Education Village Innovation Centre the Ontario government gave final approval and financial support to expand access to post-secondary education in the Town of Milton and surrounding region.

The Halton Regional Police Chorus is anticipating a great community evening at St. Paul’s United Church at 123 Main St in Milton on Saturday, May 12. With a Celtic theme in mind the Chorus will be joined by special guests, the Graham Irish Dancers, the Tim’rous Beasties, a father and son duo from Burlington, and the Halton Regional Police Pipes & Drums.
The Rotary Club of Milton has purchased a commercial grade portable BBQ with money awarded by the Milton Community Fund.
