The Rotary Club of Milton has purchased a commercial grade portable BBQ with money awarded by the Milton Community Fund.
The Club has a tradition of hosting and catering community BBQs in Halton Region. They are regular participants in the Milton Community Cleanup Day breakfast, and the Milton Ball Hockey Tournament BBQ, as well as United Way fund raising events, street festivals and fairs.
The size of the BBQ plus the purchase of separate sets of containers and implements, will allow for a variety of choices for barbecued food, as well as Vegetarian options.
Prior to this purchase the Club was grateful for the loan of a similar unit from Dale Devlin at Halton Automotive, which they have used successfully for many years.
The BBQ will expand the options available for fund raising for the Rotary Club, as well being available for consideration by other community organizations in their events.
The Milton Rotary Club is grateful to the Town of Milton Community Fund for their ongoing financial support. We are indeed fortunate to have such a resource in Milton.
