The 4th Annual MyRec-ED Career Fair was held on May 25th at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic School in Milton. It allowed Milton Youth to explore careers, ask questions and get ready for their future. It was free admission and gave opportunities for youth to speak directly with professionals in many careers as well as get expert

Milton District HospitalFoundation (MDHF) held their Community Partner Appreciation Night on June 4th at the Milton Banquet Centre. MDHF used the event to say thank you for the incredible support that community partners did for our hospital and to celebrate a successful year of fundraising.
Milton District High School held their Relay for Life on May 2tth to raise funds to support cancer research.
The Rotary Club of Milton is a local chapter of Rotary International, a global organization of volunteer
leaders who work on humanitarian issues. “Service before Self ” is their mantra and they focus on community service, networking and ethical leadership.
Pete McMullen was a pioneer in Milton for his work in local baseball and hockey. He was instrumental in founding Milton minor baseball and hockey and held leadership positions in both. He was previously inducted into the Milton Sports Hall of Fame as well as Town Hall’s Walk of Fame.
On May 30th at Milton Town Hall acting Mayor Sarah Marshall joined Prism (Halton’s 2SLGBTQIA+ Group) in raising the Pride Flag. There were student speakers present from both the public and catholic school boards in Milton.
