Milton’s Walk to Bethlehem has been an annual Milton tradition for about 20 years now, a combined effort with actors from multiple Milton churches (Renew, St Benedict, Grace Anglican, Holy Rosary and Knox) with St. George &
St. Abanoub (SGSA) Milton Church helping organize and plan it.

On October 6th, 2024, Omagh Presbyterian Church was filled to overflowing and more chairs were continually being added to the aisles of the sanctuary. The second annual BR Hacks (Hackathon) took place today at BR – Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School in Milton on Thursday November 7th. The annual hackathon had upwards of 100 members of the Milton community take part. The winners this year were;
The Magical Lights of Miltonis back for the 15th season which will begin November 30th and run every night until January 5th. They are once again raising money for Milton Hospital which is in need of a new CT scanner at a cost of $2.5 million so every dollar helps from their light show donations this year. The show is lovingly put on each year by David and Donna Geall.
On Thursday, November 7th a community dinner at Grace Church in Milton was prepared and served by St. Paul’s United Community of Faith. This monthly event occurs each first Thursday of the Month at Grace Anglican (at 317 Main Street East) from 5 to 6:30 pm with a different host volunteer group each month.
Milton recognized the best of the best at the recent Chamber of Commerce “Milton Excellence Awards” in October. This annual awards ceremony has been a tradition in Milton since 1961 when the Milton Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion first started the Community Awards for “Citizen of the Year”.
Girls just wanna have fun, and that’s just what they did on Nov 8th. The Milton Banquet and Conference Centre and the Black and White PJ Party committee welcomed approximately 190 pajama clad women to the 10th anniversary
celebration in support of the Milton District Hospital Foundation.
