The Rotary Club of Milton is a local chapter of Rotary International, a global organization of volunteer
leaders who work on humanitarian issues. “Service before Self ” is their mantra and they focus on community service, networking and ethical leadership.
On June 3rd they presented a cheque of $4000 to Townsend Smith Foundation to help towards building a hospice in North Milton. Townsend Smith Foundation board member Rick Di Lorenzo was on hand to accept the cheque and thank Rotary for their generous contribution.
The event also recognized many Milton youth who receives bursaries and scholarships as well as Romeo Mitchell who was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Recognition Medal.
