Rescue Junction, a popular bluegrass gospel group from the Waterloo area, is coming to St. Paul’s United, 123 Main St. Milton, on Sunday, March 24, 2019. This group of five gifted musician and vocalists have been travelling and singing together since 2009. Originally comprised of brother and sister Kyle and Katelyn Gerber, who play mandolin and guitar respectively, the band has grown to include Roger Martin on banjo, Dallas Roth on upright bass and Nick Huber on dobro.

Rescue Junction combines a variety of musical tastes, and their passion for bluegrass results in a unique and refreshing style. They play gospel quartet numbers to traditional and contemporary bluegrass, to original songs, and audiences can expect an exhilarating time with the band. In fact, Rescue Junction will be playing brand new releases from their new album Lions at Heart, bluegrass favorites from Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley and Flatts & Scruggs.

Rescue Junction performs mostly in Ontario, some concerts in the U.S. and venues include churches, community centers, parks, and the bluegrass festival circuit. They have received numerous nominations at the Canada Bluegrass Awards, including album of the year for ‘In Any Road’.

While it is a privilege to represent Canadian Bluegrass and meet many new friends, the goal of every RJ member is to glorify God and share the love of Christ to everyone they can. The Rescue Junction Concert at St. Paul’s begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets are Adults $20, Students $10 and 6 and under free. Tickets are available from the Church Office 905.878.8895, Shelley 905.878.7872 or Nancy 905.864.6667.
