Liane LaBarbera at IG Wealth Management’s Milton office for just had her business donate $500 to Townsend Smith Foundation.
The back story to how this came about is IG Wealth’s Management Team asked Liane on where she thought they could donate to in Milton this year. Rather than make the decision herself, she opened it up to a vote for the 100 Women Who Care Milton to select a local charity that hasn’t yet received a donation from the group. After the votes were tallied, Townsend Smith Foundation was chosen Townsend Smith Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to creating North Halton’s first residential hospice. Our goal is to give access to palliative end-of-life care for residents and serve the needs of their loved ones.
Thank you Liane, Sheri Paoletti and all the women at 100 Women who Care Milton as well as IG Wealth Management’s Milton office. Townsend Smith Foundation board members Kristina and Rick Di Lorenzo accepted the symbolic giant cheque on the foundations behalf from Liane and Sheri.
