The Special Friends Network is a grass roots initiative that was started to bring together people of all abilities. They are a social group that focuses on connecting and celebrating the neurodiverse world. Inclusion isn’t simply an idea, it’s their Motto.
Admission was free and all attendees also received free popcorn and a special cupcake. There were vendor booths, a magic show, Milton Fire Truck as well as cash prizes and music entertainment provided by Dj Rockin Rob and LostsOfficial (Aarav Bhatt).
Organizer Elaine Carter Cray also wanted to thank Jaime Reaume at Country Heritage Park for helping make this possible. “I can not express enough how grateful I am for his ( Jaime’s) partnership in this event. He offered without hesitation, with less than a months notice, to support us and make sure that Community Connections became a reality” said Elaine.
