On March 31st six Milton residents received the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition to their contributions that have helped enrich the Milton community and help build a stronger, more inclusive society. The award winners included Don Noel Dsouza, Brian Penman, Masood Pehlvi, Bob Elliot, Stacey Newman and Donna Danielli.
Also in attendance were over a dozen more who were nominated for the prestigious award and received nomination certificates from Milton MPP Zeeshan Hamid. “I’m honoured and humbled to receive this recognition, from within our community in service to our great nation. It is a reminder of the importance of citizen advocacy, and in particular, the necessity for everyday Canadians to raise our voices together in pursuit of the common good.”
