On Saturday November 13th the Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC) held it’s 7th annual Marketplace fundraiser in support of their free Empowerment Porgrams; The Infant Food Back, Period Poverty Initiative and the She Can! Girls Programs.

It was a wonderful day of holiday shopping with amazing vendors and over 300 shoppers. Tina Bulicek from MCRC had this to say about the fundraiser – “Thank you to the Milton community for your support and generous donations! Together we are making a difference for girls, women and families in our community.”  Milton Councillor & MCRC Board Member Mike Cluett was in attendance and also mentioned that“MCRC is also holding its annual Fill A Crib over the next two months supporting the Infant Food Bank to help families in need. There is an immediate need for donations of fruit/ vegetable baby pouches and diapers size 5 and 6. We would appreciate your support” To learn more about MCRC visit mcrc.on.ca
