If you’ve ever walked through Milton with Kristina Tesser Derksen, you know she’s someone people stop to say hi to. A lifelong Milton resident, Kristina and her husband Chris have built their lives here— raising their four kids, running small businesses, and giving back to the community.

Kristina comes from a working-class family and was raised to believe in hard work, integrity, and looking out for others. But today, families like the one she grew up in are struggling. Housing is out of reach. Groceries and gas are more expensive than ever. Parents are worried about their kids’ future.

“Milton is a very special place. I love this town,” Kristina says. “It’s where I grew up, where my kids are growing up, and where I want to make a real difference.”

She’s spent several years doing just that—serving as Town Councillor, volunteering on local boards, and advocating for Milton families. Now, as the Ontario Liberal candidate, she’s running to be Milton’s next Member of Provincial Parliament because she knows people need real solutions. Housing should be affordable. Families should be able to find a doctor. Kids deserve great schools. She saw the cracks in our system firsthand when her mom had a heart attack just before Christmas and had to wait in the ER because there weren’t enough hospital beds.

“Milton families deserve better. I know what it’s like to work hard to make ends meet. I’ll fight to make life more affordable for you and your family”

Vote Kristina Tesser Derksen on Thursday February 27th for a better, more affordable Milton.
