Chances are you’ve met Kristina Tesser Derksen more than once. Whether in her work as a Milton Town Councillor, advising clients in her local law practice, assisting families in her past role as a funeral director, or just helping out on a number of volunteer boards, Kristina’s life has been all about service. She and her husband Chris have built their lives in this community, raised their four children here, run their businesses locally, and give back through volunteering and community service.

Born and raised in Milton, Kristina has called this community home for her entire life. Her husband has run Crave Systems in Milton for over 20 years.

Kristina has spent her career advocating for families. Now, as the Liberal candidate for the new riding of Milton East – Halton Hills South, she’s running to be the new riding’s next Member of Parliament.

Kristina’s working-class upbringing fostered her belief in hard work, honesty, and service to others. “My roots in Milton and Georgetown have shaped the person I am,” Kristina says. But things are very different now from the Canada she grew up in. Economic threats imposed by the Trump administration, along with affordability challenges and lack of housing, have families worried about the future, their children’s futures, and the future of Canada itself.

“Georgetown and Milton families deserve assertive and experienced representation. I am committed to fighting for my community under the leadership of Mark Carney, who has the expertise and experience to guide us through these challenges. We are stronger united, and now, more than ever, Canadians need to come together. We need a leader who will unite us, not divide us.”

Vote Kristina Tesser Derksen on Monday, April 28th for a better community, and a stronger Canada.
