Get ready to paint the town rainbow and be part of a historic moment as PRISM, Milton’s 2SLGBTQIA+ group holds its very first Pride Parade in Milton! Pride Halton will take place on Main Street from Brown Street to Charles Street from 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM. Pride Halton and PRISM are thrilled to promote diversity, acceptance and visibility for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies. This incredibly important historical event is a huge step forward for the Town of Milton who has been an inclusive ally for a number of years. While the journey to amplify the message of acceptance and equality for all is ongoing, this remarkable Pride Parade event serves as an exceptional beginning.
Milton’s Member of Parliament, Adam van Koeverden, proudly stands behind Pride Halton and will be marching along with a vibrant mix of dance groups, local businesses, regional resource organizations, equity deserving groups, and the PRISM team.
