Milton’s 11th annual Charity Poker Run took place on Sunday August 19th. The Charity Poker Run attracts Motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Ontario with the run starting at Halton Auto Service & Transmission where riders draw their first Poker card and receive a T-shirt.
When asked the reason for updating the Milton Historical Society site, John Challinor II explained “Most Miltonians, like most of the developed world, have changed how they send, receive and consume information.
Today is a gift, leave nothing UNDONE. That is the philosophy of this family who owns a Food Truck in downtown Milton, hence the name UNDONE.
The Muslim Association of Milton (MAM) held another successful Annual Community Fun Gala on July 14th, 2018 with the purpose to bring the entire Milton community together and raise funds for the Milton District Hospital.
The Italian Canadian Club of Milton (ICCM) and La Rose Specialty Foods and Fine Italian Bakery will be hosting its FIRST collaborative Italia Fest on Sunday August 12th from 10:00-5:00 at the Italian Canadian Club of Milton located at 104 Tremaine Road just south of Kelso in Milton. Admission and parking to the ICCM grounds is FREE – Rain or Shine.
Although brilliant sunshine ruled the week leading up to Saturday June 23rd, the weekend was rainy. This did not prevent Miltonians from supporting the 38th Annual Strawberry Fair in aid of Milton District Hospital.
A warm breeze ruffled the flags outside the Islamic Community Centre of Milton (ICCM). The group hosted a family fun fair and festival July 7, 2018. It also served as a fundraiser for the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA).
