Kids of Health: Teaching children the critical importance of philanthropy and volunteerism in building a better society.

Thanks to amazing kids like you, patients in the Town of Milton are getting the best possible care at the Milton District Hospital. Kids of all ages are using their creative energy to make a difference in our community… and having fun doing it! Many kids give because they are grateful, because a friend or family member had to come to the hospital, or because they think it’s the right thing to do.

Whatever the reason or the size, it all adds up and makes a huge difference here at the hospital. Our youngest Milton citizens have shown tremendous initiative and philanthropic drive and we want to celebrate their imagination and enthusiasm with our Little Leaders program. Children have realized the importance of giving back to the community and we want to encourage them as much as possible!

Thank you to Lamiya P for showing tremendous philanthropic creativity by making slime and selling it to her friends at school! Lamiya also did several other fundraising activities in support of MDHF and raised $200! We are so happy to have you become a Little Leader!

Thank you to our newest Little Leader Zoe H! Zoe went on a 4km walk around Milton to raise money in support of Milton District Hospital Foundation! She asked her friends and family to support her by pledging donations and raised $50! A big welcome and thank you to our newest Little Leader Christina M! Christina generously donated the proceeds of her recent garage sale in support of Milton District Hospital Foundation. Thank you Christina!

Thank you to Lily R, who selflessly requested that guests attending her 7th birthday party make a donation to Milton District Hospital Foundation instead of bringing her gifts! This is the second time that Lily has participated in our Little Leaders program, as she did the same initiative to celebrate her 5th birthday as well! You are an incredible young philanthropist!
