April 28 marked the end of Milton Youth Recreation Centre (MYRec)’s basketball season at MyFest 2018. Awards were given out kicking off an afternoon of family fun and celebration at the Milton Sports Centre.
Rain, and cold wind failed to dampen the community spirit as runners gathered at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre (MNCC) on May 12th. It was the third annual Run for Milton organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at – Milton Chapter to raise money for the Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF).

Denim, Diamonds, and cowboy hats were on display April 21, as Miltonians gathered for the fifth annual Rotary Club Denim and Diamonds gala. The event was held at the Gambrel Barn at Country Heritage Park.
Studies have shown that wine has many health benefits such as reducing risk for heart disease, and stroke. On March 22, RDC Networks hosted their fifth annual wine tasting at Casa Americo benefitting the Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF).

Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF) honoured its community partners on February 8, 2018 with a reception. Community partners refer to people, and organizations that have helped the foundation raise funds for the hospital expansion.
The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation raised $20,000 for Halton area schools. The money was awarded at a reception on February 8 at Troy’s Diner in Milton. The money was part of the funds raised through the annual Miracle on Main St.
Outside January 6, 2018 was one of the coldest winter days so far this year. Inside the gym at the E.C. Drury School for the Deaf Sports Complex people turned their minds to cricket, and preparing for the upcoming season.
