The Milton Sea and Navy League Cadets have been  quite busy during the 2024- 2025 training year! Sharing the same academic year with schools, young Miltonians ages 9-12 and 12-19 can take part in two of the after-school free youth programs sponsored by the Milton Branch of the Navy League of Canada.

Although these youth programs are free of charge, there is a cost involved in being a member. Cadets are expected to participate at weekly training sessions where they learn topics in leadership, military marching drill, naval discipline, knots, and in the many citizenship and community events these two units participate in.

Over the past training year, the both cadet units participated in the Remembrance Day Ceremony, Military mess dinners, the Milton Battle of the Atlantic memorial, visits to the Legion Museum, and to HMCS OJIBWA, a cold war
memorial located in Port Burwell. They also support the community with the Down Syndrome Walk, Halton Regional Police Day, Park Clean-up, Food Drives and more, and cadets are recognized for their efforts on our Annual Ceremonial Review and on Awards Nights, More can be found on our Sea and Navy League Cadets on facebook, instagram (@rcsccchaudiere) or on www.miltonseacadets.com
