On July 29th there was a free music concert held inside Milton’s Victoria Park across from Town Hall. It was the conclusion of the summer park concert series and the grand finale had over 200 Milton residents attending on benches, lawn chairs and blanked while they gathered around to hear jazz, swing and everything groovy there is. Thanks to Kelly the MC who kept things on a steady roll and ‘That Band’ Director Candace as well the the conductor Brenda.
Vocals for the night were mainly from Urban Faria and “Breathtaking” Brooke who sang multiple songs
through the night. That Band thanks the Milton Legion (Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 136 – Milton) for their long standing support and reminded people they will be performing next at the Legion on Saturday October 19th this year.
Kelly kicked off the event telling people to “Turn to someone beside Music in Victoria Park with by Rick Di Lorenzo you and say, Thanks for coming! I appreciate you!”. Band members included Smooth Stephen, Wailin Warren, Dazzeling Don, Jazzy George, Pat the Pulse, Legendaey Lorne, Passionate Peter, Powerful Peter Hummel, Brilliant Brenda, Scott the Dtud,Jivin Jill, Harmonious High, Sean & Jill (hoping I didn’t miss anyone)
