The Women’s Empowerment Alliance is a non-profit organization working towards making a significant impact by providing support and opportunities for Women. On March 3rd at the Milton Sports Centre they held an Entrepreneur Women’s Award Ceremony where they recognized various women of distinction in both Milton and the surrounding areas.
Kanwal Waseem, the group administrator describes the Alliance as “A Platform by women; for women” and it’s shown in the large membership that helps reflect a strong commitment to empower women and fostering success through networking, collaboration and community events. “We have heard from some remarkable women entrepreneurs who have shared their stories of triumph over adversity antheir experiences in the business world. We have discussed important issues related to gender equality and have reaffirmed our commitmentto working towards a future.”
