Tim Hortons is once again making our week a little bit sweeter with its beloved Smile Cookie campaign, running from April 29 to May 5. In Milton, every purchase of these delightful chocolate chunk cookies, decorated with pink and blue icing smiles, will support Milton District Hospital Foundation.

Jason Tavares, a local Tim Hortons District Manager for the QSR Group, shares his enthusiasm for the initiative. “Supporting the health and well-being of our community is a core part of who we are at Tim Hortons. Every Smile Cookie sold helps us contribute meaningfully to the vital services our hospital provides,” he explains.

The campaign, which last year raised a record-breaking $19.7 million, involves local store owners like Carlanna Sdao, who not only owns and operates several Tim Hortons stores in Milton but also serves as a board member at Milton District Hospital Foundation. She highlights the impact: “The support from the Smile Cookie initiative is crucial. It allows Milton District Hospital to acquire the essential equipment needed to provide immediate, high-quality care. As Milton rapidly grows, the demand on the hospital increases. The generosity of donors through efforts like this ensures that healthcare professionals at the hospital are equipped with the best tools, maintaining the standard of care the community deserves.”

Every cookie sold demonstrates the commitment that this community has to our hospital. These collective efforts ensure that the people who live in Milton are able to access the best possible medical care close to home.

So, come grab a cookie, share a smile, and help make a difference— one cookie at a time!
