The Milton Rotary Spring Gala occurred on April 13th in Milton. Miltonians enjoyed a three course meal with beverages along with the sweet sounds of Milton’s own live band, the Groovy Brothers. The sit-down dinner had a Hawaiian Luau theme with Lai’s provided to all guests upon entrance. The night of food and fun was in support of two worthy local causes: Townsend Smith Foundation Hospice and Darling Home for Kids.
Dignitaries such as Mayor Krantz, MP Adam van Koeverden, former Waterloo Mayor Brenda Halloran and current Rotary District Governor, Milton Councillor Kristina Tesser Derksen and Milton MPP Candidate Galen Naidoo Harris. Also in attendance were Townsend Smith Foundation board members Kristina Tesser Derksen and Rick Di Lorenzo as well as Darling Home for Kids members Julia Pietrangelo and Marco Lopes.

“The support that Townsend Smith Foundation has received from the Milton Rotary club is instrumental in the goal of building a palliative care hospice resident for North Halton.
