On June 7th Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF) hosted their annual Community Appreciation Event where they recognized their community partners and volunteers that help fundraise for our local hospital. The event was held at the Milton Banquet & Conference Centre and included appetizers and refreshments.
One community partner that was highlighted at the nights event were McDonalds Milton. They had their biggest fundraising year yet raising over $10,000 for MDHF. This donation will support HJMAC’s (McDonald’s Milton) campaign pledge of $100,000, naming a Rapid Assessment Fast Track Communication Station in the Emergency Department. They are also a committed supporter of MDHF event sponsoring the Gift of Health Gala and Ladies Play Day.
The Magical Lights of Milton annual Christmas event hosted by Donna and David Geall were also mentioned for their 13 years running spectacular Sound and Light Show. Their 2022 show raised over $8,700 bringing their grand total to $92,000. In recognition of the generous and ongoing support of the Magical Lights of Milton, an Acute Care Examination Room in the Emergency Department has been named (see MagicalLightsOfMilton.com for more information)
