This year on On Good Friday local Milton churches – Milton Knox Presbyterian Church, Grace Church,and St. Paul’s United Community of Faith – organized the Carrying of the Cross inviting all residents to attend.
The story of Jesus’ journey to the cross was told as peoples walked and stopped at various locations around Downtown Milton and reect not only on what happened then, but how it still happens today.
At each stop people read passages from the bible, prayed and reected on the past, present and our future.
The walk ended at Grace Church where Hot Cross Buns with jam and co ee were o ered to all participants.
