Lostsofficial, aka Aarav Raj, has released his second song, “I’m Sober” on all streaming platforms. His first song, “Backed Out,” was released in September 2020 and got great reviews with over 34,000 views on YouTube and over 20,000 streams on Spotify.

Aarav, musically known as “Lost” is a 16-year young boy currently studying at CKSS in Milton. He is a young music maker, rapper, singer, dancer, actor and wants to pursue his career in the world of Music. He currently writes his own songs; apart from indulging in Music Technology, he is also acquiring multimedia presentation skills to strengthen his prospects. He keeps his audience engaged on Social Media by posting his weekly covers while working on his own songs. He has been continuously working on new projects and has three other songs due to be released in the upcoming months. He has collaborated with two other boys in Ontario, and you would be able to hear their creations very soon.

Covid has certainly suspended the plans for a music video for Lost, but he knows practice and perseverance is the key to success. As a matter of fact, he dawdles in his studio to produce new melodies and lyrics. Lost has a sire desire to learn music technology to create his own beats, melodies.

“Sober is a song about being in a relationship or “thing” with someone, but it’s complicated, messy, and toxic.” The “link” or “bond” between the two people is getting weaker, and “I’m Sober” discusses finally ending the messy situation, says Lost. The song goes through how the decision to end the relationship is the right decision. In this case, I’m Sober could be used in any context, like metaphorically: my mind is not clouded, and I am 100% sure this will be the right decision to make, with no regrets, adds Lost. Sober can also be used physically: I am not drunk or high, or under any influence, I am sober, and I know what I’m doing, no regrets. Overall, the song goes through near the end of a relationship or “thing,”; something that may have started great but is now declining and shows how you’ll be better in the end if you get out of your toxic/messy situation, says Lost.
