The Dads of Milton (DoMs) recently ran their second annual homerun derby and charity fundraiser, Step Up to the Plate (SUP) 2.0. Held at Lions Park on Saturday August 31. Attracting over 350 guests, the DoMs raised over $7000 for Halton Women’s Place.

Rotating batters in the three divisions (men, women, and children) made the day move seamlessly. The treat of witnessing the awesome power of three former pro ball players during the All-Star homerun derby wowed the entire crowd and showed the attending children exactly how good professional athletes are.

Additional activities included a live dj, a magic show, a dunk tank with some brave volunteers, bbq, batting cage, and a number of terrific raffle prizes that were given away throughout the day. Sponsors of this amazing family event as well as over 3 dozen volunteers that made it all possible and truly a day to remember.

The DoMs plan on running a 3rd Derby in the summer of 2020.
