Milton once more heard the moans of zombies and chills of fright as it witnessed the 8th annual Milton Haunted House held inside Milton Mall.

“We have played host to the Milton Haunted House since 2011”, said Cindy Sedge from the Milton Mall. “It’s an amazing event and we are happy to sponsor such a fundraiser for Milton District Hospital Foundation.”

Completing it’s eighth year, the event has raised over $80,000, which goes towards Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF), to help with the purchase of new medical equipment and facility improvements. The goal is to raise $10,000 this year.

Keeping the Milton Haunted House new and different is an enjoyable challnege for event organizers. “Every year we look to add new surprises and twists so you never know what you will be confronted with when you enter.” said Milton Haunted House organizer Rick Di Lorenzo. “This year I took a much reduced role in organizing the event and was very impressed by the expanded size that our Chief Architect David Coulter had planned. It was to date the largest and most well devised Haunted House I’ve ever seen in Milton reaching about 2,000 square feet in size with many new scenarios and scenes.”

In addition to the Milton Haunted House Tour there were local super heroes, Sneezy the Clown, penny raffles and silent auctions as well as face painting and other attractions.
