The Italian Canadian Club of Milton (ICCM) & La Rose Specialty Foods and Fine Italian Bakery will be hosting its FIRST collaborative Italia Fest on Sunday August 12th from 10:00-5:00 at the Italian Canadian Club of Milton located at 104 Tremaine Road just south of Kelso in Milton.
Milton Golfers were invited to tee off for a miracle on June 15, 2018. It was the fifth annual golf tournament organized by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (TJSF) in support of its annual Miracle on Main fundraiser. It drew participants from Southern Ontario, and as far away as Vietnam.
It started six years ago as a conversation between Milton Orthotics, and Wellness Centre Owner Angelo Posteraro and Rotary Club member Rod McLachlan. The two men wanted to help the community, and get kids active. “It supported physical activity, and supported a charity.”

July 18, 2018 – The Downtown Milton Classic Car Show is happening this Friday evening in Downtown Milton.
On a cool evening in June, Milton’s Muslim community invited Miltonians to breakfast together during the month of Ramadan. The delicious Iftar meal was enjoyed at sunset according to tradition, and held on June 4 at Paramount Fine Foods Milton.
Milton Muslim Moms marked Eid by giving back with a Qawali Night on June 24th. It was also fundraiser for Milton District Hospital Foundation. “We talked to Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF) and they loved the idea of doing it jointly,” Milton Muslim Moms President Maliha Khan Ahmed said.
Milton foodies have a new event to put on their calendar. Th e Mac & Cheese Festival made its debut on June 8, 9, and 10 at the Milton Fairgrounds. Lovers of the pasta-based food, were invited to taste, and vote for their favourites.
The last weekend in June kicked off Events Ontario Softball Cricket League (EOSCL). Saturday June 23 was an event at Paramount Restaurant to unveil the team jerseys and captains. The league expanded from eight to 17 teams this season including teams representing town councillors.
With overwhelming success, Halton Gujarati Seniors Samaj celebrated Multicultural Festival-Canada Day Celebrations at Lions Club Hall in Milton with Milton Mayor Gordon Krantz, MPP Parm Gill, as well as guests from multiple communities.
